Vintage beach.

Thanks to Keely, Kierstin, and Jenni, I too am now obsessed with this magical photo editing tool that makes all your photos look vintage with the click of a button! I decided to try it with some of my California beach photos and now I can't stop!

Go here, upload a photo and click the blue button to translate your photo into something like these...

Me & Suz in Destin, FL...if only we were wearing vintage suits!

I think I might frame these in whitewashed frames and put them in a grouping above my bed. Perfect. Who needs Photoshop?

Oh, the choices...

Oh dear. I keep finding new fabric potentials for the headboard in the guest room. I mean, just look at it! With possibilities like this being discovered every day, how does one decide?

Then, part of me wants to wait until Anna Maria Horner releases her new line, Drawing Room. I have only seen a few swatches, but it looks brilliant! What is a girl to do?

Warm glow.

(Yes, I'm going to post soon on the rest of our Northeast vacation! We have had horrible internet access for the past week, so I'm behind! Stay tuned!)

Our livingroom is now painted a lovely yellow: Warm Glow. My friend Michelle also crafted some gorgeous curtains out of an Urban Outfitters bedspread I got for $9.99, and my pink sari from India. I LOVE how it all turned out! Now I will think of my Indian friends every time I look out the window!

I made this to remind me of one of my favorite quotes from an Elisabeth Elliot book and thought it matched the room perfectly!

Latest creations-long overdue!

DreamMore has been busy, busy, busy. But it's fun, fun, fun!

First, some fanciful bookmarks...

"The butterfly is already becoming...it just takes time." ~ from Hope For the Flowers by Trina Paulus...

Some Scripture bookmarks and an illustrated version of Psalm 91 for Jenni, who really likes birdies. Notice the theme? :)

I made 3 slightly different versions of this "Dream" frame featuring Patty Griffin lyrics for Suz. Here's one of them...

A flowery collage vase with excerpts from Proverbs 31...

And a Jeremiah 1:5 baby frame for a little boy named Evan...
